Apart from Saint Spyridon’s church which is a definite masterpiece, Corfu has several other churches and monasteries that are definitely worth a visit. 

This tour starts with a visit to the Monastery of Paleokastritsa, the most famous spot on the island. On a green hill above the beach of Paleokastritsa is located a large Monastery complex dedicated to Panagia (Virgin Mary) of Paleokastritsa. The monastery hosts an interesting collection of post-Byzantine icons, books and other objects.

Then we will guide you towards Kanoni and the unpretentious monastery of the Most Holy Theotokos of Kassiopitra, built 500 years ago. We will continue our tour by visiting the picturesque church of Virgin Vlaherna and the Chapel of Pantokratora on the famous Pontikonisi (Mouse Island). On top of the hill in Kanoni, you’ ll have time to enjoy the amazing view of the church of Vlacherna, the sea and the Pontikonisi (Mouse Island), and capture amazing photos. 

Your tour would not be complete without a visit to the atmospheric Corfu Old Town and the Church of Saint Spyridon, the patron saint of Corfu and the symbol of the island’s religious life. You’ ll walk through the narrow alleyways of Corfu, the so-called Cantounia, and you’ll have free time for sightseeing, shopping or tasting local products in the various local shops.
