Achilleion Palace

Once your guide picks you up from your desired place (port / accommodation), we will head to Achilleion Palace. The stunning appearance of this stately palace takes the visitor back in history when the palace was inhabited by Empress Elisabeth of Austria (known as “Sissi”) and Kaiser William II of Germany. There you’ll visit the historical museum decorated with many statues, including this of the Greek mythology hero Achilles, from which the name is derived. The gardens on top of the hill provide a scenic view of the surrounding green hills and valleys, with the Ionian sea in the background.

Mon Repos

Afterwards, we’ll visit Museum of Palaiopolis-Mon Repos, a neoclassical building in the east part of Palaiopolis, Corfu’s ancient city. The mansion, in which the Museum is currently housed, was once the summer residence of the English Commissioner Frederic Adam and his Greek wife and afterwards of the former royal family of Greece. We’ll continue our tour by visiting Kanoni, where you'll have time to enjoy a cup of coffee, look around and capture amazing photos. Here you'll find out why this area is the favourite for all the Corfiots, Kings or not.

Corfu Old Town

The tour ends with a walk through the Corfu Old Town, the place where the ”heart” of Corfu is and there you can discover the city's most remarkable landmarks including the Venetian Old Fortress, the grandiose Palace of St. Michael and St.George, such as the cosmopolitan Liston and Spianada square.
